Saturn & Pluto Conjunction in Capricorn, January 12th, 2020

The Saturn & Pluto conjunction is the biggest transit of the decade, which is happening exact on January 12th, 2020. I wanted to expand further on what the energy of this transit is, and how we can use & manage this energy throughout 2020.
Astrologers have been talking about this transit for years, as this conjunction sets the stage for many, many years to come. There is so much to say and below are some further resources if you are interested in watching.
Saturn in Greek mythology is Cronus: the God of time. He stands for governments, corporations, structure, order, rules, responsibility, laws, judgment, and in some sense karma. He is the planet that will say "check yourself before you wreck yourself." Because for so many centuries he was considered the last planet, (and is still the last planet you can see with the naked eye) he also signifies boundaries, limitations, and even walls.
Pluto represents raw Power. He desires deep & utter transformation, dismantling, creation and destruction. Pluto wants to fundamentally transform a thing from its core, which can cause extremes & chaos.
It doesn't take much to see the ways in which our governments, corporations & people in power are going against the natural order of things, and are increasingly misusing their power. Stepping into 2020, I want to provide you with insight & tools on how to approach this extremely significant shift we are moving into throughout this next decade.
As we have seen throughout history, sometimes we have to descend into darkness so that we can climb back up into the light. Before we get too far into 2020, it is so important to be clear on what you want the world you live in to look like. Make a vision board, describe it in your journal, draw & paint, whatever your creative outlet is make it crystal clear for yourself so that if and when you feel fear or uncertainty set in you can return to your vision.
Saturn is the lord of time & of judgment, recognize that every action you take plants a seed. Ask yourself, what future do I want to contribute to creating? This is a big year for karmic return–a year to reap what we’ve sewn. This is important to keep in mind that what we are dealing with is consequences–for what has been and what will be.
This is a huge turning point for humanity & all that is new. A big keyword is redefinition. We will be redefining ourselves, our societies, our cultures, and ultimately, our world. There may be moments of shock and moments of needing to let go of everything you think you know. Because of this, we need to stay open to new realities and new ways of being.
We have to be willing to take personal responsibility and to stop blaming & pointing fingers at each other. It's important to realize WHAT YOU DO MATTERS and it's important that you take action in the ways in which you can. It will be very difficult to sit this one out; every single one of us is in the process of realizing that we are involved & important.
A BIG lesson this year is learning the acceptance of self vs. the other. We have to see how we are all in this together. We live in such a huge call out culture and this has to stop. We have to learn how to have others & have ourselves, too.
As I mentioned in my last post, one of the most important things to do in response to this transit and all of this Capricorn energy is to follow your integrity. Doing what you believe is right and true for you is more important than losing or winning. Repeat, doing the right thing is more important than losing or winning.
As misinformation, lies, deception & propaganda may rise, it's going to be increasingly important for you to know your truth. Be very discerning of the information you consume, know your news sources, and make sure to support free-press.
THIS TRANSIT IS A HUGE OPPORTUNITY. We are who we've been waiting for. We all play a significant role, and I believe we are all here for a reason. Allow yourself to explore that. Stay in the moment, be present, breathe, and make sure practice self-care. Get enough sleep, drink enough water, eat healthy food, and get enough exercise.
Show up for yourself so you can show up for the world!
Aloha ~
